Dr. Jaketra Bryant is not just a candidate — she’s a counselor, researcher, and committed community advocate who has spent her career supporting families experiencing trauma, arrest, and economic hardship. She’s stood shoulder to shoulder with people navigating systemic barriers, and she knows how to heal and how to lead.

Counselor & Researcher: With roots in mental health and restorative justice, Dr.Bryant has developed trauma-informed programs that work.

Community Builder: She founded Breaking Cycles, a grassroots initiative helping over 80 families heal from violence, incarceration, and instability.

Policy Expert: She helped craft Georgia’s first domestic-violence self-defense law —applying her experience and expertise to drive legal change.
